OUR VISION
KB Container Storage was incorporated in October of 2003. The Founder discovered a consumer and commercial need for intermodal equipment (shipping containers, flat racks, trailers, chassis, etc.) in the South Florida region. Our first container sale was on October 22, 2003, and the rest is history! Over the years, our service territory has expanded to the Southeastern United States, U.S. Gulf, and the Caribbean Islands. We are not limited by these regions and plans for expansion are always “on the table.”
Our core values are Integrity, Reliability, Expediency, and Affordability! We strive every day to follow these values and exceed the expectations of our valued customers. Shipping containers were invented in the United States in the mid 1950’s, and their usage has grown exponentially since then. Containers are our core business, and as it turns out, these containers are becoming more popular every year. Lucky for us!
Beyond their traditional usage for cargo carriage aboard ships, trucks, and trains, containers today are also being utilized for consumer and commercial storage, homes, office space, livestock, restaurants, community centers, learning centers, construction site offices, agricultural use, and a multitude of other applications. Whether you need a container for domestic use or for export, we are here to serve you and offer any advice that you may require.
We are familiar with all aspects of the container and transportation industry and can also assist you with exporting your cargo laden container overseas. We are familiar with shipping lines and required export documentation.

KIRK BATTEIGER
FOUNDER, KB CONTAINER STORAGE
Kirk Batteiger founded the company in 2003 after having a vision while lying in a hospital bed recovering from major surgery. The vision included the “American Dream” of owning a small business and developing a customer-centric organization committed to our strong core values of Integrity, Reliability, Expediency, and Affordability. Kirk graduated from the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy in 1979, and served his country as a Navy Officer, Merchant Marine Deck Officer, and a Government Contractor. He has 35+ years of experience in Shipping, Marine Transportation, and the Shipping Container/Storage business. At KB Container Storage, we don’t just sell you a container, we also offer delivery service, industry related advise, container modification consultation, container repairs/parts, and service with a smile. We value our customers and try to exceed their expectations every day of the week. Our Moto is Acta Non Verba (Deeds Not Words)!
